Orbit and Violet

success2.jpg

Orbit (was Chika-Chan) and Violet (was Honey-Chan)have been a wonderful part of our household since November, when Rick introduced them to us at the Union City fair. Just like that first day, Orbit still climbs up to the top of your shoulder when she's picked up (It's getting to be a bit of a tighter fit up there!) and Violet loves to be held and hugs you right back. Every day these little sweeties give us lots to smile about, starting with the morning ritual of Orbit purring and singing on the bed until we're all awake, and Violet getting under the covers to "knead" on a soft human arm. They're about 10 months old, and we're always charmed by seeing where Orbit will climb up to next (the top of the kitchen cabinets is a current fave), and what new blanket, scarf or pillow the two will claim as their new spot upon which to nestle up together. We'll have to come by to visit someday soon so you can see just how perfect these playful love-bugs have become. If we decide they might like a little brother, we'll know where to look.

Binary

Good Afternoon,
I wanted to share the wonderful experience I had adopting my cat from your rescue. His name was Charlie, I adopted him from Rick at the Pet Club in February. Rick's advice on introducing the new kitty into my household was priceless, and everything worked out really great. I've attached a picture of my older cat (Ascii - Grey/Black Kitty), and my new cat Binary (formerly known as Charlie - White Kitty) snuggling up together. Thank you for everything, and for helping me find the perfect new member of my household!
Sincerely,
-Kirsten

Toma and Tala

After our cat died we wanted another kitty...We came home with two. They're sisters - how could you separate them. It was important that any new addition get along with our dog. We got her as a puppy and she was raised by the cat... now the tables are turned and she has the parent role.
Although these two are only 8 months old, they came well trained by their foster Mom, who also raised them in a dog home.
The integration has been remarkably smooth and these two are a kick. Huge thanks to the purrfect folks and purrfect foster Mom at Purrfect Cat Rescue.

Chilly Willy

Hey! We just wanted to update you on our Christmas adoption of Chilly Willy. He is our little sweet man and we love him so much! He adjusted super-fast to life in our house, and he and his older brother are inseparable. We were expecting a shy kitty who needed some time to get used to his surroundings, but not Chilly Willy--it took him about 30 minutes and he owned the place. He's already purchased property in a lovely corner of the house. He nad his brother share a tri-level kitty condo complete with an upstairs deck and private bathroom. Thank you for placing him in our home--we couldn't be more pleased with our adoption. You guys rock!

Karma

Thirsty Cat2.jpg

I wanted to give you an update on a kitty we adopted from you all in September. Her name was Camry, and she was about two months old when we got her. She settled in really well in our household and is a total love still. She was given her own “puppy” 6 weeks ago, and our 4 month old beagle can’t figure out if he is a cat or a dog, and the two play like litter mates. She purrs constantly, has a love of cooked spaghetti noodles, loves to be held like a baby on her back and have her tummy rubbed. She also plays fetch with the puppy, and they both race to see who can get the toys we throw first. Her new name is Karma (Sometimes she is good Karma, sometimes she is bad Karma).

Zephyr

I just wanted to say hello and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Zephyr (Cinnabon) is a great kitty cat and he just loves living here. He has his favorite spots (such as sleeping on top of the big-screen TV---it’s not soft OR warm up there...go figure!), and is just a great little guy. And you’re right---he just HAS TO see what it is I’m eating or fixing in the kitchen. No matter what he’s doing, he’ll drop everything and rush over to the kitchen to see what’s going on. I’ve been spoiling him lately with little bits of tuna which he just loves. At night he’s very good, and just sleeps on the bed with me and is quiet until the morning. I’m so thankful that you were able to rescue him from certain doom!

Mishka

We adopted one of your kitties on Dec 9 last year. We named him, "Mishka" - Michael the little bear- in Russian. He has quickly adjusted to our household and seems to be enjoying living with us! We enjoy his company, too. He is a mellow, but funny and loving kitty with a big appetite. We are very glad to have adopted him.

Tootsie

From her new home: Just an update on Tootsie! She's doing great and is up to 5.8 lbs now. She's certainly made herself part of the family and the other two cats have accepted her fairly well. She enjoys attacking our toes at night!
